YHA flagship property meets local colour

Built above archaeological remnants of colonial Sydney, the award winning YHA hostel combines state-of-the-art facilities with a heritage experience. This was an amazing Project to work on as we had the city, the archaeological site and the local and outback colours all as inspiration. 

We fitted out this property when it was first built, all with custom made furniture and furnishings. Since then we have been with the YHA through its next soft upgrade, designing and manufacturing their meet and mingle hub to work in with our previous designs. 

This design needed to be bright, young and contemporary, while also being extremely hard wearing. We worked on a custom made colour scheme and design that not only fitted the brief, but also hides marks and stains which are always an issue with a busy meeting hub.
